Low Order

The LX range is a family of self-fill low order deflagrators and disruptors for controlled IED/UxO neutralisation on land or at sea to 300m.

Choosing an option that isn’t “high order by default” when the task calls for lower effects;

Working across land and subsea tasks, where stability and handling matter (including buoyancy considerations);
Keeping logistics simple, with equipment that is transportable and practical to prepare on-task.

What Low Order solves

Across the range, LX systems combine self-fill convenience, non-magnetic construction, buoyancy-neutral handling, and CobraMDS Placement Unit integration, with NONEL or electric detonation and compatibility with ECS initiation methods (manual, coded RF, acoustic), plus support for accurate aiming via the ECS Expendable Targeting Laser.

Convenient, cost-effective and easily transportable self-filled systems designed to be straightforward to prepare in the field.

Designed specifically for low order neutralisation; LX-30 and LX-50 use an aluminium/magnesium combination to achieve low order deflagration using the Miznay Shardin effect (directly or through an intermediate medium), while LX-420 uses an aluminium/gel approach for low order neutralisation.

Fully integrated with the CobraMDS Placement Unit for repeatable placement; compatible with the ECS Expendable Targeting Laser to support accurate aiming.

NONEL or electric detonation with multiple initiation options (manual, coded RF, acoustic), suitable for use on land or sea down to 300m.
